Today we went up Mori building in Roppingi. Everyone enjoyed. Except maybe for me (photos doesn't reveal how scared I am, especially up on the roof 240m above ground).

Advanced candy
Yesterday when walking in Shibuya we came across this candy store. Seems Gränna have a few things to learn.
This massive log of candy mix
Is stretched and rolled and chopped up
And this is the result. Tiny but really sharp hiragana characters saying arigatou, thank you in Japanese.
Other types of candy with small figures.

Checking out
We just had our last swim in the nice pool before catching the bus to the airport. Filled with onsen water it keeps 38-40 degrees and has been lovely at night time as well as during the rain showers. Over all a good hotel and a great week. Wouldn't mind coming back.

Churaumi waterpark
Yesterday we had a car for a day and went to Churaumi waterpark, a very nice park area by the sea up north on Okinawa with an amazing aquarium. The photo in front of the main tank where we could enjoy manta rays and other pretty big creatures. Outside we watched a dolphin show and said hello to see turtles and other funny fellows. Weather was good, between the showers, and we could finish off with spending an hour at the beautiful beach.

Half a house please
I like the Japanese sense of bringing a solution to a problem. Need to tear down half a house to build a parking place? No problem. Don't forget to replace the missing wall with some plastic sheets and you will be alright.

Inokashira animal park
Tuesday we went to Kichiyoji, a small cozy city were Maki went to school. We visited their animal park, Inokashira, and the boys could hold a guinea pig for the first time.
Kei was truly excited about the guinea pig.

A bit too late...
catching the last bit of Sakura during a walk along the river in ogikubo. The blossom started early this year and by now most trees has got green leaves mixed with the last remaining flowers. This weekend it's said to be raining and the last flowers will most likely fall down.
