The first half day skiing in Hokkaido didn't offer any of the well known dry powder snow but instead a very nice weather with first sun shine and later in the evening moon light. In fact it's not much snow at all, apparently it has been raining a lot lately so most snow has disappeared and now it's pretty normal condition for the spring with soft slopes. With a bit of luck it will snow while we are and even without snow if the weather just stays the same we can't complain.
