Good morning

Morning in the archipelago. Yesterday evening we took the boat out to spend the midsummer holiday.

First swim

Today was again very sunny and hot so I thought it was time for the first swim for the year. 20 degrees in the water so not painful at all.

Sunday 10 June 2007

In the repair shop

Some foot massage and a people's beer. Couldn't be better!

I made it!

After a bit of struggeling in the end of the race it was fantastic to cross the finishing line. Not the best time ever but considering the amount of training and the heat during the race I'm quite happy.

Maki's flag

At the stadium I could spot Maki with her flag!

40km

Heja heja!

Annika and Sona cheering along the way close to the goal.

35km

First time behind 5min/km average speed and pretty tired at this point.

Dear Maki

We hadn't been able to spot each other earlier during the race but after 35km I could finally spot Maki and her home made surprise flag!

Saturday 9 June 2007

30km

Still average speed less than 5min/km but last kilometers has been slower so I start to realize I won't make 3.30h

Kampai

BBQ picnic with pontus and laure. A wonderful day in the archipelago.

Sunday 3 June 2007

Kuruma

As a good surprise when out jogging this morning a cortège with old cars drove by. Note the towing car in the background standing by to assist any car over-heating in the sun.

Draw

Knees tight together, just like skiing in the eighties!
How did the game end? Lucky for the upcoming marriage the score was 6-6 after the last ball was thrown.

Swing it!

Dancing? No, boule. Out walking earlier tonight we found the newly opened boule bar in rålis so we stopped by for a game and a drink. Not a bad way to spend a summer evening.

Aka

Just passed my tae-kwon-do examination and finally got my favorite color red on the belt. Will celebrate with some jogging tonite, the marathon next weekend suddenly feels very close.
