There was a time when dogs worked hard to be called man's best friend - helping out with hunting, searching for mines, helping blind people, bringing cognac to people lost in the snow etc. Nowadays in Tokyo dogs do not only get expensve hair cuts, they also get to be driven around the city in small wagons.
