Today we went to Ukai Toriyama restaurant in Takao mountain for an amazing lunch. The restaurant is built up in a beautiful park with small huts where each company get to sit in their own small house. You get served a number of small dishes (I already forgot just how many) and the meat that is grilled on your table for the main course is something special. As a bonus we got to see the end of a wedding cermony as we came to the restaurant, the bride and groom came out from the restaurant to the music from traditional japanese drums.
On the way back home we stopped by Kichiyoji and the park around the lake where lots of people go for hanami. Thousands of people are having picnic under the trees in the large park and on the lake people are going under the trees with small boats. If you can stand the crowds it's a very nice place to visit during cherry blossoms.
